WHY: This year marked Air Jamaica’s 40th Anniversary as Jamaica’s flagship carrier serving Jamaica and other islands in the Caribbean. South Florida is one of Air Jamaica’s most important gateways, given the large Diaspora population. Air Jamaica regularly interacts with the Caribbean population in South Florida through community outreach and events. This particular event is hosted by the South Florida Diaspora to recognize Air Jamaica’s community support throughout its 40 years of service.
