I have a deep passion for certain sports. Today I am in sports heaven with the men’s final of the Australian Open , the women’s double, and the ultimate game, Superbowl 43!
The inspiration of accomplishment is what is most appealing to me. This morning, I caught the final points of the epic Australian Open between the titans of the men’s game. I truly understood the hurt in loss of Federer, and the comfort provided by Nadal , his opponent.
We got the same thrill back this last August with the wonderful Jamaican team in China.
From Usain Bolt to Michael Lee-Chin, winners are not only determined by their inborn talents.
Greatness doesn’t come from DNA but from practice and perseverance honed over time.
And not just plain old hard work, like your granny might have advocated, but a specific kind of work.
The secret is how you practice , how you analyze the results of your progress and learn from your mistakes, that enables you to achieve greatness. Just consider the Arizona Cardinals!
