Haitian American Author Cindy Similien, Winner of the 2020 Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards
Her children’s book, “Good Night, Baby Baby” is a story about a multicultural family who discovers the importance of sharing the timeless gifts of love, hope, and courage and passing them from one generation to another. It was written to address quarantine insomnia at the onset of the global pandemic and empower families with young children to establish better sleep routines by incorporating bedtime stories. Ms. Similien was also the recent recipient of the “COVID-19 Hero” Award from the Office of Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams.
The Moonbeam Children’s Book Awards bring increased recognition to exemplary children’s books and their creators, and support childhood literacy and life-long reading. The Awards recognize and reward the best of these books and bring them to the attention of parents, booksellers, librarians – and to children themselves.
“Good Night, Baby Baby”  is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
