Happy “IRIE” ISH  St. Patrick’s Day. Jamaica does have a history of Irish people living in the island. Two notable Jamaicans of Irish descent are Chris Blackwell & The Right Excellent Sir William Alexander Clarke Bustamante GBE.  From Wikipedia:  People of Irish heritage are the second largest reported ethnic group in Jamaica after African, although most Jamaicans claiming Irish heritage also claim African ancestry and some might claim Indian or Lebanese ancestry. Historical Irish immigration to Jamaica occurred primarily through importation of Irish slaves and also constituted the second largest recorded historical ethnic influx into the country. Some Irish slaves in Jamaica were indentured, but most more were complete chattel slaves imported by the tens of thousands by the English
