“Midnight at Puss Creek,” the eagerly anticipated theater comedy-play starring Oliver Samuels, Glen “Titus” Campbell, Camille Davis, Courtney Wilson and Teisha Duncan will be staged in Hartford, Brooklyn, Boston, Queens, Bronx and East Orange, NJ from May 20-29. Since the hilariously Who-Dun-It drama opened in Kingston, Jamaica, last December, it has been commanding rave reviews and sold out audiences.

“Midnight at Puss Creek” is written by the award winning playwright, Patrick Brown and co-directed by Trevor Nairne and Brown. Nairne is a recipient of a Jamaica National Award.

Performances will be staged in CT, MA, NY and NJ, one performance per venue only because the play has to be in other U.S. cities, England, Guyana and Eastern Caribbean before it closes. Therefore, fans in the New York Tristate area have only May 20-29 to see “Midnight at Puss Creek.” The venues and dates are:

Hartford, Ct., Friday, May 20, 8pm, Weaver Auditorium, 415 Granby Street, 8pm.
Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts @ Brooklyn College, NY, Saturday, May 21, 8pm.
Boston, Ma., John Hancock Hall, Back Bay Events Center, Sunday, May 22, 6:30pm.
Queens, NY, York College Performing Center, Friday, May 27, 8pm.
East Orange, NJ @ Cicely Tyson Performing Arts School, Saturday, May 28, 8pm.
Bronx, NY, Lehman Center, Memorial Sunday, May 29, 6:00

“Midnight at Puss Creek” has been keeping Kingston audiences in stitches; audiences in NY America will be tickled, dazzled and excited too. Veteran actor/comedian Oliver Samuels team up with another seasoned actor, Glen “Titus” Campbell, to deliver 2011, by far, best comedy-play. Samuels who quotes memorable Biblical verses to deliver punch lines, is contributory in grooming young and multi-talented actor Courtney Wilson masterfully change roles. Wilson in his detective character brings laughter throughout as he combines old fashioned investigative police work with new technology.

Samuels says, “’Midnight at Puss Creek’ is the most challenging piece of theatre I have been privileged to be a part of. It is that kind of work. Audiences love this one. It is great fun, packed with hilarious moments, and definitely something most have never experienced before. I am really excited.”

The suspenseful, mysterious and comedic storylines tease audiences to solve the mystery and lucky fans are eligible to win prizes for their detective work.
