Jamaica is a proud nation. But due to the continuous increase in poverty, many students are unable to get the quality education they deserve. Some parents in the Kingston areas of Jamaica are struggling to provide food for their children to eat and simply cannot afford the cost of an education for their children. The children are the future, and what kind of future should we expect to see with children who are uneducated? So today, I am reaching out to you and on behalf of the student who can’t do it themselves. I am asking for donations of school items such as bags, books, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, khaki uniforms for boys, calculators and all other items that these students will need for school. Clothing and shoes may be in all sizes for children up to 13 yeas. Please, all items should be new or in a relatively good condition to kick off the start of a new school year. We are also accepting monetary donations which should only be made by Check, directly to the St. Francis All-Aged School , and it will be donated in its entirety to the school. Thank you for taking the time to read my plea and your cooperation and generosity will be appreciated.
