Staff WriterGreenergy Productions, LLC’s announced that they will be donating part of the proceeds from their 3rd annual “Hudson River Eco Reggae & World Music Festival” to various Haiti Relief Organizations including educational and environmental charities.
Hosted by Jamaica’s very own Mutabaruka and Lady B Bless, Hudson River Eco Reggae & World Music Fest will take place at the pristine island of Croton Point Park, Croton on Hudson, NY, located in Westchester County, Saturday, August 21, 2010. From 12 noon to 8:00pm, the festival features artists as, Master Haitian Drummer “Bonga,” African Drummer/Teacher, Kofi Donkor and Sankofa ensemble, Latin Sensation, El Juri, Hip Hop’s very own NY Oil, Jazz Great Ms Karen “Frankie” Francis, South African dance sensation Juxtapower, Native/African American Author/Musician Lonnie Harrington with more to be announced.
