Here’s to positive action and accountability. Here’s to a people of conviction, strength and resourcefulness, who by love for and faith in each other and our youth, can find solutions that will help drive Jamaica as a global brand destined for sustainable prosperity. Here’s to you, JAMAICA!
Join the Jamaican Diaspora community and supporters of the I AM JAMAICA movement for a spontaneous toast to Jamaica’s Independence during the lighting ceremony of the 50-story Miami Tower, 100 SE 2nd street, Downtown Miami, TODAY, Friday, August 6, 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
In commemoration of the 48th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence, the iconic Miami Tower will illuminate the Miami skyline in black, green and gold, the colors of Jamaican flag. The toast will take place at the Sky Terrace of the Miami Tower, 11th Floor. I AM JAMAICA representatives will participate in this and other independence week events as a part of the month long launch period of the movement.
“We are grateful to Wealth Capital USA and their management team for this kind gesture to the Jamaican community. This is a toast to all hard working Jamaicans and persons of Jamaican descent across the America and the world and to our friends who have honored our culture and heritage,” noted Marlon A. Hill, Jamaican Diaspora Advisory Board member for the Southern United States.
The I AM JAMAICA movement, an initiative of the Jamaican Diaspora, calls on all Jamaicans, at home and abroad, celebrities, community leaders, artists, entertainers, entrepreneurs and others, to encourage a sense of personal responsibility, to inspire each other in embracing our talents and resources as a burgeoning global community for the upliftment and prosperity of our youth, and to evoke an emotional connection of hope, positive vibes, prosperity, oneness, and all other core qualities of ‘Brand Jamaica’ among Jamaicans worldwide.
