SUNDAY July 30
This celebration of classic and contemporary gospel music will enhance our celebration of Jamaica’s Independence here in Toronto. The purpose for this Music Festival is to recognize and celebrate the creative, historical, communal, and social significance of Gospel music, which is an art form, created by our community, and has had a great impact on our culture!

The Jamaica Day Gospel Festival will be featuring International as well as Canadian gospel entertainers, definitely will be a celebration at it’s best for the entire family. Gospel music has deep roots in our community, and it’s one of the fastest growing musical genres today.

Over the 16-year journey IPEG has remained committed to unity and cultural growth that is why this year’s independence festival will be celebrated in grand style.

Yes! We have included a day of Gospel to our festival. This day is not limited to music; it also includes poetry, dance, arts and craft shows, midway rides for the kids and kids at heart and the list goes on.
