Media WriterThe 2023 International Peter Tosh Day Reggae Festival will be held on Saturday, April 15th, at 4305 Degnan Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, from 12noon to 6pm (PDT). Presented by the Peter Tosh Foundation – in association with Q Bwoy Productions and Ladybea – the event is a full day of reggae festivities done in honor of the man affectionately referred to as Bush Doctor.
This is a free event, with limited capacity, that will highlight reggae music, culture and lifestyle. Jamaican cuisine will be available, and there is a highly anticipated performance by guest artist Bushman.
The International Peter Tosh Day Reggae Festival happens every year – usually on the 20th – in celebration of the rich music legacy and life teachings Tosh left behind. In addition to being one of the core members of The Wailers, Peter also established himself as a successful solo artist and a key promoter of Rastafari.
