The star-studded IRAWMA ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 4th, 2013, at the prestigious Coral Springs Center for the Arts, in Coral Springs/Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Already, scores of experts worldwide have submitted their nomination ballots, and by Thursday, hundreds of additional experts from around the globe will nominate reggae’s best for the 32nd IRAWMA.
Experts are asked to make their decision based on materials/songs released between December 2011 and November 2012. They must also take into consideration the social relevance of materials, originality, sales, local, national and international performances, quality of performances, and stage appearances. Experts may enter 1st and 2nd choices per category, and skip the categories where they are not knowledgeable.
Once the nominees are announced, the general public can visit www.irawma.com and vote to select the winners.
Six special categories are added for the best in the South Florida music industry for 2012 and for those who have made extra-ordinary contributions to the Florida entertainment industry.
