Fresh from a heralded performance at Irie Jamboree 2009, Dancehall’s lyrical assassin returns to Queens for a more ‘up close and personal’ performance. Irie Jam Media Group Inc. and Irie Dale Inc., in association with Business2Business Round Robin present Dancehall deejay Assassin live at popular lounge Lorna’s (formerly Queen of the Sea) on Wednesday, September 16th.
“Assassin is an engaging and vibrant performer,” states Robert “Bobby” Clarke, CEO of Irie Jam Media Group. “He was brilliant at Irie Jamboree, and we are excited to have him back for the Round Robin next Wednesday.”
“Irie Jam and Irie Jamboree have given me a platform to really connect to the people of New York over the past eight years,” states Assassin. “I have grown as a performer and my music and fan base have grown as a direct result of Irie Jamboree and Irie Jam Radio. I always look forward to performing with Irie Jam.”
In addition to a live performance from Assassin, patrons will have the opportunity to win several door prizes including round-trip airfare to Jamaica or anywhere that Air Jamaica flies in the Caribbean, compliments of the Irie Jam family and Air Jamaica. Irie Jam Radio personality Jabba will also be giving away tickets to his annual star-studded event Jabba Strikes Back where patrons will have a chance to win a 3 series BMW automobile. Jabba Strikes Back will be held on Saturday, September 19th at Club Amazura in Jamaica, NY.
