Staff WriterThe Jamaican Diaspora Southern USA will host an organizational meeting on Friday, July 21st, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Christway Baptist Church – 3800 S. Douglas Road in Miramar.
The purpose of the meeting is to educate the public about the Jamaican Diaspora Movement, review a summary of resolutions from the recent conference held in Kingston last June 15-16, and to discuss organizational goals and objectives to further develop the Jamaican Diaspora here in the Southern USA.
All are invited to attend the meeting.
The meeting will be chaired by attorney, Marlon Hill, the newly appointed Jamaican Diaspora Advisory Board representative for the Southern USA.
