NEW YORK, NY (RHONA FOX, INC.) – Jadine aka Soca Deva hits off the New Year on a high note as she releases the video for her first single, “Don’t Call My Phone.” Fans and media were on hand at the New York premiere a few weeks ago to celebrate the launch.
The video was shot on location in Manhattan and stars Hollywood actor Lamman Rucker, who is of Bajan decent and was featured in the recent box office hit, Why Did I Get Married? It also hosts numerous guest appearances, including former Miss Grenada Kelly-Ann Ross, soca star Ragga, HOT97’s DJ D-Life, and the Active Dancers. Click here to watch.
This is just the first step in a strategic plan to launch Jadine as the face of soca music. Hailing from Montserrat, she follows in the footsteps of many of the genre’s great, including Arrow. In fact, fans can look forward to a collaboration with the legend himself on her debut album Unleash The Deva, set for release later this year.
Next up for the Soca Deva is Trinidad Carnival. In the meantime, she will be doing non-stop promotion for radio and television. For all media inquiries, including requests for the video and single for radio play, please sent format and mailing information to Rhona Fox at 1-212-300-3813 or [email protected] .
