Los Angeles based record label, Jah Mix Entertainment, the home of Belizean Reggae superstar, Eljai, has signed a distribution agreement with VPAL Music / VP Records Group, the leading Reggae music distribution company worldwide. The label will be releasing a new four song EP from Eljai in the spring to initiate the artist’s release with this new agreement. “I am honored to the have the opportunity to work with a giant company like VPAL. We feel we will be able to reach the audience that we have been trying to expose people to as an independent label,” says the singer about the label’s new distribution home.

Eljai released the successful 24/7 EP in 2012 in which the title track went to number one in Jamaica and Belize and in the Top 5 of New York and So Florida Reggae singles charts. The video for “24/7” has been popular on YouTube with over 130,000 views. He previously released two albums through Jah Mix Entertainment, the latest being the Da Rebirth album in 2006 and the successful I Know album in 2010 working with producers Kemar “Flava” McGregor and Fabian Cooke. His other number one songs include “Don’t Leave,” “Blessed” featuring Capleton, and “The Leaders.”

Eljai has begun rehearsals with his band for his tour to support the release of the new EP with concert and festival dates set for this spring and summer worldwide.
