The Jamaica Tourist Board’s Mid-Atlantic Business Development Manager Victoria Harper (right) assists a Washington, D.C. area resident as he gets into one of the city’s many taxicabs currently displaying a Jamaica topper. The destination is promoting its Winter Rescue offerings, including specially priced travel packages, throughout the month of January. It’ll soon be even easier for D.C. residents to enjoy a Winter Rescue in Jamaica when AirTran Airways launches nonstop service between Baltimore and Montego Bay on February 11. Currently the island’s national carrier Air Jamaica offers nonstop flights between Baltimore and Jamaica.
