Jamaica Family Festival Returns This Heroes Weekend1
The wholesome all-ages event is free to the public and offers a unique and authentic Jamaican experience for both tourists and locals; showcasing the best of Jamaican food, music, vibes, culture, and business services, all in one place.

Celebrating its 9th anniversary in Kingston, the event will now be staged on Heroes’ Day at the Hope Gardens, one of Jamaica’s most iconic spots for families to unwind and relax. The venue change gives better access to transportation and it creates the opportunity for families to come have a picnic at the event. Montego Bay will get a second opportunity to experience the festival as well, after an extremely warm welcome to the second city last year, the event will return in fine style at Harmony Beach this Saturday.

Gospel Linkup, promoters of the event, promises a wide array of activities this weekend for both legs of Jamaica Family Fest.

This year we have more than 30 exhibitors even those featuring Jamaican history and heritage. We brought back the Auto Show feature of the event showcasing amazing new vehicles from Nissan, Kia, and Honda. We will also have free health checks with the ministry of health on site,” Andrew McKenley, CEO for Gospel Linkup explained

Jamaica Family Fest will also feature a Kids Village with over 30 rides and games, an Education Fair, Business Expo, Health Fair, a Food Village and culminates with performances from; Alaine, Lubert Levy, Chi Ching Ching and Kevin Downswell.

Jamaica Family Fest continues on their mission to give families wholesome entertainment that will leave them feeling enriched and blessed. Working alongside partners; Harmony Beach Park, the Urban Development Corporation, Tracks & Records, Jamaica Biscuit Company, Old MacDonald Farms, Fidelity Motors, ATL Automotive, Sagicor, Jamaica Theological Seminary, JBDC, Love 101, Bess FM, Roots FM and Mello FM.

We will continue to fill the gap; providing a fun, wholesome and safe space for families to come out together and enjoy themselves. We look forward to this weekend’s staging and hope patrons from both cities come out and support,” Andrew added
