jamarchThe Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida will host its Inaugural launch event in fabulous style on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014 at the Hilton Altamonte Hotel located at 350 Northlake Blvd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 from 12:00pm – 5:00pm with Registration beginning at 11:00am for attendees.
The new Central Florida Chapter of the Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce, spawned off of the main organization based in South Florida, will present its first ever ‘Business Enterprise Development Workshop’ which will incorporate an amazing line-up of scheduled Presenters who will explore various topics of business interest which include Marketing in the Media, Business Etiquette and Professional Presentation, Marketing Essentials and Its Significance in Business and much more.
Marie Gill, President of Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce, will be in attendance at the Central Florida Chapter launch event to participate in the excitement which this debut event brings and to offer a special motivating presentation as well.
Heather Chisholm, Pres. of the Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida Chapter is quoted as saying
“Our membership is significant as it puts us in direct connection with the 424 members of the Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce who are highly accomplished professionals and businesses willing to network and build relationships as peers with common interests. This also provide direct links with the planning, trade and investment authorities in Jamaica. What better foundation could there possibly be to establish, promote and develop social and economic investment initiatives for trade and distribution.”
The Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce (JAUSACC) which launched in 2004, under the auspices of the Consulate General of Jamaica in Miami, and under which the new Central Florida Chapter falls, is a not-for-profit organization committed to the creation of trade opportunities for its members and the strengthening of national, regional, and international commercial relationships between the United States and Jamaica. The mission of the JAUSACC is “to empower its members to create and promote trade, while strengthening economic and cultural opportunities between Jamaica and the United States.” JAUSACC is an affiliate of the Association of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce (ABiCC) which is comprised of 40 Caribbean/Latin America community led national chambers, as well the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.Membership to the Chamber now stands at 424.
