Travelers from Denver and its environs looking to escape the cold can now book their warm winter getaway to Jamaica on Frontier Airlines. The new nonstop service from Denver to Montego Bay, began operations on Sunday, December 22 and will fly on a weekly basis. In celebration of the inaugural flight, the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) treated all passengers to Blue Mountain coffee, and an assortment of Jamaican pastries while jamming to reggae music. Jamaica Tourist Board’s Business Development Manager Dian Holland welcomed the passengers and thanked them for making it a Jamaican Christmas. During the boarding process, each passenger was presented with a Jamaica gift bag containing a t-shirt and brochure. The weekly flight will depart Denver at 8:10 a.m, with a 3:00 p.m. arrival in Montego Bay. The return flight will depart Montego Bay at 3:55 p.m., arriving into Denver at 7:35 p.m. The new weekly flights are Denver’s only winter nonstop to the Caribbean.
