This summer, Jamaica’s appeal to visitors as an easily accessible Caribbean destination will again be enhanced with the introduction of seasonal flights courtesy of Vacation Express. Flights will begin operating to Montego Bay from Nashville on May 15, New Orleans on May 17 and Atlanta on May 19. All Vacation Express packages which include nonstop flights are for six nights with the exception of Nashville which is for four nights.
From Nashville, the flight departs on Thursdays returning on Mondays and will operate through to August 7. The flight from New Orleans departs on Saturdays returning on Fridays and runs through to June 21, while that from Atlanta departs on Mondays returning on Sundays and runs through to August 4.
Flights from Cincinnati will operate Sundays to Saturdays beginning on May 18 and runs through to August 3. From Newark, flights will begin on June 28 running through August 2, 2014.
“The addition of Vacation Express flights from these five markets will assist the destination in being able to transport additional vacationers this summer,” said John Lynch, Jamaica’s Director of Tourism. “Length of stay will be positively impacted as visitors using this seasonal service would have booked either a four or six night stay. We are eager to welcome these new and repeat visitors to Jamaica this summer to experience our culture, cuisine and exciting attractions and activities.”
