Jamaican athletes perform well at the New York Grand Prix on Randalls Island

IN-FORM Jamaican sprinter Steve Mullings wrapped up his preparations for the JAAA/Supreme Ventures National Senior Track and Field Championships yesterday by beating American Tyson Gay in photo-finish in the 100 metres at the New York Grand Prix on Randalls Island.

In what turned out to be a slow race after three false-starts and run into a negative 3.4 metres per second wind, the former Vere Technical High student won in 10.26 seconds, the same time credited to his American training partner. Read more>>
