Jamaican born Reggae Dancehall Artiste Lexikhan with his unique sound and inspiring lyrics is Reggae and Dancehall’s latest music sensation. This multi-talented artiste describes his sound as “A Breath Of Fresh Air” in Dancehall and Reggae music because of the way he was able to fuse the sounds of Reggae and Dancehall together to create “Happy Music”. The lyrics used in all his songs are aimed at expanding the current thinking and attitudes towards this particular music genre as they are filled with positive energy. Lexikhan will officially launch his music video for his single “World Map” on Friday July 27, 2012. Miguel Henry, more popularly known as Lexikhan was born and raised in Ocho Rios, St Ann Jamaica. Henry grew up to the sounds of popular Jamaican artistes such as: Beenie man and Sizzla Kolanje. Music has been an innate passion for Henry as he has been involved in music for as long as he could remember. His first break came from an Impromptu performance at an Open Mic Night at “The Roof” Nightclub in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The encouragement of his utterly supportive friends paid off where he ended the night on a high note as the audience clamoured for more. The success of this one night was the launching pad of a career where he officially came on the scene in 2004 as a recording artiste. Songs such as “Can you Wine”, “She Want It Now” , “Hard Feelings” and “Why Can’t We Work it Out ” has led to performances at : Sting ,Ocho Rios Seafood Festival , TeenSplash, St Mary Agricultural Show ,Fully Loaded and Jerkfest.To date, Lexikhan has released the “Lexikhan the Book Volume 1” Mix tape which is inclusive of 10 tracks. The highly anticipated launch of the Video for “World Map” is slated to be released on July 27, 2012 . This video was produced by Grammazone Music and is set in his home town of Ocho Rios , St, Ann Jamaica. The concept of this video is well suited with the title of the song as it expresses that women are not as common as the world map. Lexikhan will be performing at the Ocho Rios Seafood Festival on August 5,2012.
