The Jamaican Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta (JamCham), announced today their Inaugural PowHer International Women’s Summit, an inclusive ecosystem of professional women, serving every demographic and diverse entity. The one-day virtual summit will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 10:00 AM EST to 3:30 PM EST. The event will bring together leaders from across many industries and generations to demonstrate how women are navigating monumental change to rearchitect industries, spark major movements and unlock opportunities for others.
2020 is a year that not only marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of women’s voting rights in the United States but has also been a year emphasizing the importance of true diversity, equity and inclusion. The Jamaican Chamber of Commerce of Atlanta has always upheld its commitment to uplift women’s social, cultural, economic and political achievements. The PowHer International Women’s Summit was created to celebrate and foster honest conversation around the advancement of women.
