jamarchComedian, Entertainer Rohan Gunter started off 2013 full speed and has no intentions of slowing down hashe plans to showcase his talent worldwide.
After being a special invited guest this past Friday in Florida by Promotional company “Suga The Next Eppiso” for their “Friday Madness” event, Gunter will be taking his talent at the Ellis International Star Studded lineup “Wacky Wednesdays” taking place in Kingston, Jamaica at Comedy Cafe every last Wednesday of the month.
Comedy Café “Wacky Wednesdays” will present 12 shows premiering on January 30th , and is expected to feature performances from both local and international comedians.
Show producer comedian Owen Ellis expects a huge show of support but admits that “Comedy is often the forgotten element of our entertainment industry”, while Damion Crawford, Jamaica’s Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism and Entertainment, shared and expressed similar sentiments “I am pleased to be at an event that is not music. Not that I don’t love the music, but I would like to make it clear that music is not the only part of entertainment and it is not the only viable aspect of entertainment in Jamaica. I am happy to see that there are entrepreneurs who have seen the opportunity and have put their money in Jamaica. We are happy that South Beach has now become a part of the entertainment industry, and that the investors have seen it necessary to push for the diversification of our entertainment”
