The thought came to mind while driving a friend’s father to and from his doctors’ appointments. Chang received confirmation while assisting a woman struggling in the grocery store. The woman shared that she needed help often and became the company’s first regular customer.
“At the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, I thought this idea would be greatly appreciated, especially for those who are considered high-risk or uncomfortable being in public,” Chang said. “Even though I am doing this, I have to be safe and make sure that I am protecting myself and others. A lot of people do not want to leave their homes and this service provides them with added assurance and peace of mind.”
To keep customers safe, Errands For You, LLC follows and observes all COVID-19 protocols outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Staying safe and healthy is of utmost importance. Hence, social distancing measures include, not entering customers’ homes for deliveries or pick-ups; wearing a surgical hat, gloves, a mask, and a face shield at all times; and using hand sanitizers and wipes to disinfect between services.
