Marsha McDonald of Seacrest Designs participated in the inaugural High Point Market VIP Experience Tour hosted by the High Point Market Authority, October 18-23, 2019. The tour, a gathering of over 40 designers from all over the country, was created for designers to participate in an extraordinary week of design destinations, events, insider experiences and shopping at North America’s largest home furnishings show.
“Even though I have been in the interior design industry for several years, I never visited High Point Market! I was eager to discover the best in the design world and what High Point has to offer! The options were endless with great products and I got to see first hand some upcoming market trends, through the High Point Market VIP Experience Tour”, says Marsha McDonald, Jamaican-born designer, who designs luxurious spaces with a tropical/ island flavor.
The High Point Market (HPMKT) is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 75,000 people to High Point, North Carolina, every six months in the Spring & Fall. With over 180 buildings and more than 2000 Exhibitors, there are over 100 countries represented and over 10,000 new products are launched at HPMKT. Serious retail home furnishings buyers, interior designers, architects, and others in the home furnishings industry can be found in High Point twice a year because if you can’t find it in High Point… it probably doesn’t exist.
