The team’s participation was made possible by Jamaican Wesley Frater, the event’s director of basketball operations, who over the years has supported the local basketball program.

The players’ participation in the ZSG is a precursor to the July 22 – August 3 national training camp which will be held Miami , as the team prepares to defend their Caribbean Basketball Championship (CBC) title won last year at the tournament in Kingston , Jamaica . The 2007 CBC championships will be held in Caguas , Puerto Rico from July 5 through 12.
