Jamaican Nicardo Blake of Boyd Anderson High will become the first Jamaican to play in the prestigious Nike South Florida All-Star Football Game Sunday January 20, 2008 at Ft. Lauderdale Lockhart Stadium.
The 5’10” 160 LB kicker will play a pivitol part as all-star games usually comes down to kicking (field goals). Born in Portland and recently moved to US, this senior is excited that he has come to America learned a new sport and will be part of a 50 man team that will represent Broward County. “It will be exciting to hear my name called on Sunday night, this will be my last high school football game and I hope to do well”. Blake is also a member of the school soccer team.
