New York based newspaper Caribbean Life News this week honored Jamaicans.com Senior Contributing Writer, Dr. Kerri-Ann Smith with an award as one of   “40 Under 40”  Caribbean-American Leaders who are making a difference. Dr.  Smith is the youngest member in the Department of Academic Literacy at Queensborough Community College and was once named a New York Times Teacher Who Makes a Difference. She has been a Jamaicans.com  Senior Contributing Writer for over 10 years and is also the organizer of the New York Anancy Festival.  The award gala was held on November 20, 2014.
