Jamaicans.com has a record 6 nominations in the 2010 Jamaica Blog Awards

December 28th, 2010 – Xavier Murphy, CEO and founder of the Jamaicans.com website, announced that the site has received a record of six nominations in the 2010 Jamaica Blog Awards (http://jamaicablogawards.com). The website is the premiere website for culture, news and information about the island of Jamaica. Jamaicans.com received nominations in several different blog categories.

“I strongly believe that the coordinated effort to identify and encourage superior blogging by Jamaicans is a bold initiative that will develop an interest in and awareness of this dynamic medium of expression,” said Xavier Murphy, CEO and founder of the Jamaicans.com.

The website received the nominations from among a field of 276 blogs in 16 categories. The awards were established to celebrate talented bloggers and their potential in Jamaica.
