The fifth staging of the Makka Pro Surfing Competition, which scheduled for July 29-31, 2011, is an annual international surfing competition held in Southhaven, Yallahs. With regional and international professional and amateur surfers attending each year, the competition is the largest of its kind held in the Caribbean and has been steadily growing over the years.

The Jamaica Surfing Association will be holding a press conference of Friday July 15, 2011, to which you are invited. The conference will be held at the Spanish Court Hotel, 1 Stl Lucia Avenue, Kingston 5, from 9:30am – 11:00am.
