Jamaica and its hotel partners were a big hit at the 2011 MLT Vacations Quality Assurance Awards held recently at MLT University in St. Paul, Minnesota, with the destination winning the most awards in the Caribbean.  Among the award winners were: Coco La Palm Seaside Resort, Couples Negril, Couples Sans Souci, Couples Swept Away, Couples Tower Isle, Gran Bahia Principe, Hedonism II, Iberostar, Sandals Resorts, Sunset Beach Resort & Spa, The Jewel Dunn’s River and The Ritz-Carlton Golf & Spa Resort.

The Quality Assurance Award, recognizes qualifying hotels in Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United States. For the 2011 award, results were measured against the experiences of more than 500,000 customers who traveled with Delta Vacations’, Continental Airlines Vacations, United Vacations and Worry-Free Vacations from the U.S. and Canada.

Out of the more than 2,300 hotels offered by MLT Vacations in Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America, Hawaii, Florida, Las Vegas and the rest of the U.S., only 193 qualified to receive the MLT Vacations Quality Assurance Award designation for 2011.
