JAMPACT Celebrates Black history/Reggae Month
Although ‘Black’ (African/African Diaspora) History is formally celebrated in February, we acknowledge that this history should be celebrated throughout the year – 365 days.
JAMPACT pays homage to our ancestors who dared to ‘Imagine’ a greater quality of life for us, their children. Their sacrifices will not be forgotten. Whether they are our immediate relatives or public figures such as Nanny of the Maroons, Marcus Garvey, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Malik El Shabazz, Mary McCleod Bethune, Mary Seacole and countless others, their legacy endures in our hearts and impacts our daily lives.
Let us celebrate all who have contributed to our rich cultural heritage.
