Jamaica Impact, Inc (JAMPACT) is excited to announce a new level of partnership with its long time sponsor Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery and Grill! Since JAMPACT’s inception, Golden Krust and its founder Lowell Hawthorne has provided significant support to the furthering of JAMPACT’s mission. This support has included both monetary and in-kind donation. This year, Golden Krust has agreed to be a top level sponsor of JAMPACT, the Principal Sponsor.
As Principal Sponsor, Golden Krust will be the title sponsor of JAMPACT’s annual school supplies drive from May – August 2014, making it the JAMPACT/Golden Krust Annual School Supplies & Toy Drive. In addition to the direct support, drive supporters will be able to drop off school supplies at any participating Golden Krust franchise location across the tri-state area.
Further, Golden Krust will provide extensive support to JAMPACT’s annual gala, to be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014. Patrons can certainly expect to experience tasty food offerings catered exclusively by Golden Krust.
JAMPACT is extremely delighted by this partnership alignment and is grateful for Golden Krust’s continued support of organizations on a mission! Support like this can never be understated as JAMPACT moves to meet the needs of young children and their families in Jamaica.
The 2014 School Supplies and Toy Drive will be kick-off with a media launch on Saturday, May 24th 12 Noon to 5pm at Golden Krust Caribbean Bakery and Grill, 998 Flatbush Avenue, between Albemarle Road and Tilden Avenue, Brooklyn NY. The launch will include a brief program at 2pm with leadership from Golden Krust including Omar Hawthorne, Director of Franchise Development and Community Affairs, as well as some local city council members, other community leaders, volunteers, and other supporters. On hand will also be Jamaica’s Power 106 broadcasting live. Others include our longtime media partners Ire-Jam Radio 93.5FM, Jamaicans.com, and StreetHype. The group is also fortunate to have onboard Trans-Continental Express Shippers as their shipping partner who is also a long-time supporter of the school supply drive.
The afternoon will also include give-aways and refreshments, and raffle courtesy of Golden Krust. The community is invited to come out and support this worthwhile endeavor.
