Staff WriterJAMAICA IMPACT, JAMPACT, presents a fundraiser in support of its adopt a school program in Jamaica. This festive commemoration will take place on Thursday, November 9th, 2006 at Brooklyn Borough Hall, Brooklyn, New York at 6:30 pm.
Special Guest, Una Clarke, will help to launch Jampact’s Loving Links Program, a program being conducted by one of Jampact’s adopted school in Jamaica, Maxfield Park Children’s Home.
All proceeds will go to support Jampact’s programs dedicated to the progress, potential and promise of the next generation of Jamaicans and to ensure that they reach their full potential. Over the years, Jampact has donated over US$47,000.00 to these programs.
The fundraiser will take the form of cocktails, with music and a silent auction. Help JAMPACT make early childhood education in Jamaica a RIGHT! not a privilege.
