DANCEHALL & REGGAE GIANTS OF PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE GET READY FOR JUNE 3RD
The JAMROCK Reggae Festival steps it up with new additions to the already power-packed line up for the 10th Anniversary celebration on June 3rd. New additions to the JAMROCK Reggae Fest (formerly known as the Westchester Reggae Fest) include
Bermuda’s newest hitmaker Collie Buddz, legendary Reggae songstress Marcia Griffiths, the Dancehall Gladiators-Brigadier Jerry, Mikey Jarrett, Mumma Nancy, and Ranking Joe-colorful Dancehall entertainer General Degree, and Trinidadian Roots chanter Khari Kill. The ever hilarious and ever controversial Twin of Twins have also been added to host the highly anticipated event. These new additions will be joining 2007 Grammy nominee Buju Banton, Billboard-chart topping artist and Grammy award winner Shaggy, the ‘Fireman’ Capleton, Roots Reggae’s Richie Spice, and Reggae icon Richie Stephens. “For the 2007 JAMROCK Reggae Fest, we are not only celebrating our 10th anniversary of incident-free sold-out annual shows, but we are also celebrating the artists that have built and are building the Reggae music industry; the artists and the music that has built LinkUp Radio and LinkUp Media,” states LinkUp CEO David “Squeeze” Annakie. “We are not only presenting the biggest names in Reggae today, but bringing back some of the industry pioneers, as well as presenting the hottest industry newcomers.”
