Picture this: stars in the sky, stars on stage, you and yours enjoying mellow music and cool runnings at Jazz Treasures, Two Seasons Guest House, Treasure Beach, Jamaica on Saturday, June 20, the South Coast leg of the Jamaica Ocho Rios International Jazz Festival.
Be entertained by drummer par excellence, Desi Jones, and his band of friends: Christopher McDonald on keyboards, Adrian Henry on bass, Rupert Bent on guitar, Dean Barnett on steel pan, Courtney Fadlin on sax, and Winsome Benjamin vocals. The song bird of Jamaica, Karen Smith, will also add her vocal talent to the treasure-trove of jazz. Mutabaruka will play selections from his extensive collection of jazz CDs.
