MONTEGO BAY, St James — Jamaica will be among 201 of the 212 countries that have declared their intentions of taking part in the 13th IAAF World Championships to be held in Daegu, South Korea, starting on August 27.

The IAAF announced yesterday that the meet, which will see the largest gathering of athletes in 2011 and is the third largest sporting event on the globe behind the Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup, should see a bumper turnout of athletes from all around the world. Read more>>
