JCDC/NYS Memorandum of Understanding Signing for Events Management Training Programme, April 8th, 2014, Kingston

The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) and the National Youth Service (NYS) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding which follows the successful training of 50 young people between the ages of 17 to 24 years old as Events Production Assistants.

The MOU signing by the Board Chair of both agencies, Aston Cooke (JCDC) and Maureen Webber (NYS) confirms the commitment of the agencies to developing a collaborative relationship for training and development of youth interested in events production and management.

The Events Production Assistants will now be employed for six months at the JCDC head and parish offices island wide.
