JCDC Schools’ Art Day Out, December 12th, 2013, Kingston

TIME :  9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC) an agency of the Ministry of Youth & Culture has planned a Schools’ Art Day Out as one of activities for this year’s Jamaica Visual Arts Competition & Exhibition 2013.  Over 250 Arts Students in Grades 10-12 and 50 Art Teachers were invited to participate.

The Day’s Activities include :

• 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon: A CSEC Teachers Workshop
• 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. An Artist Talk Panel with Allison Sinclair, Staysean Daley, Alexander Cooper and Chalik Campbell. The Moderator will be Ms. Carol Campbell.
• 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.-Artylympics Challenges
• Mystery Portfolio
• Art/Exhibition Trivia
• Pictionary

4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. Fashion Show- Edna Manley College Students

10 a.m. -6 p.m.     Viewing of Exhibition
