“The Health, Home & Garden Expo 2010 to be held at the National Arena, October 29-31, provides us with a unique context, with its focus on homes, in which we can showcase the products and services of the Jamaica National Building Society (JNBS) and its subsidiaries,” said Leon Mitchell, Marketing, Promotions and Sales Executive of the JN Group.
In its seventh staging, the three-day lifestyle expo will feature more than 200 booths, mounted by a wide cross section of corporate entities that are committed to the promotion of beautiful internal and external environments and healthy lifestyles.
“The HH&G Expo has grown to become a premier event on the trade show calendar; and far more corporate entities and consumers are aware of the benefits to be achieved from promoting and being exposed to the products and services being featured through this professionally staged exposition,” the Marketing Executive maintained.
In terms of the participation of the JN Group, Mr. Mitchell said that its booth, being designed by The Creative Unit (TCU), a subsidiary of Jamaica National, will use its display to feature the range of services offered through JNBS and its subsidiaries, including mortgages, home improvement loans, real estate and vehicular insurance coverage along with emergency roadside assistance and wealth management services.
“We want consumers to be more aware of ‘linked’ financial options that are available from the JN Group,” Mr. Mitchell said, adding that, “Persons at the expo will benefit from the daily mini-workshops; and a major presentation by Jamaica National, on October 31 at 11:30 a.m.
The HHG Expo will highlight all aspects of the home; and feature workshops about health emergencies, health checks, men’s health, decorating and gardening. Mr. Mitchell said, “JN is associated with HHG because it has proved itself a source of a good entertainment for the entire family.”
Entertainment over the three-day period will feature performances by Ity and Fancy Cat, Little Wacky Dancer, Fi Wi Band featuring Mento, Ska and Reggae; and special appearances by the 2010 Digicel Rising Stars Dalton Harris & Camaley, and many others.
According to the publishers of HHG Magazine, who organize the show, their main objective is to, “help us to make our lives better in varied and sometimes very simple ways.”
