JOB TITLE: Account Executive

LOCATION:  Caribbean Assurance Brokers, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for servicing a portfolio of health insurance clients as well as actively enrolling new client; Gaining new business by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market; Developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients; Introducing new products and promoting them through regular visits and frequent communication with existing and prospective clients; Increasing profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible; Consulting on the most effective cover for a particular need; Delivering good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients; Maintaining detailed knowledge of new and existing products by liaising with colleagues as well as availing of the necessary internal and external training provided; Ensuring credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors’ products; Monitoring and reporting on performance against agreed sales targets; Ensuring compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) by keeping up to date with all changes in the regulatory framework; Working with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a recognized Tertiary Institution and/or persons with the requisite experience within the Insurance Industry; Must own a reliable motor vehicle; Working knowledge of the relevant classes of insurance; Fostering and maintaining good relation with the Insurers; The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; Must be able to handle multiple priorities/possess good organizational skills; Good time management skills; Good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft suites; Good interpersonal skills; Ability to work on own initiative; Must be a good team player
