JOB TITLE: Assistant to the President & CEO
LOCATION: Jamaica Public Service Company Limited, Kingston
DESCRIPTION: Provides high level executive administrative support in a one-on-one working relationship with the President & CEO; Serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Office of the President & CEO; Serves as a liaison to senior executives from other companies, the board of directors and senior management teams; Organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects; Maintains filing and document management systems to support the office of the President; Organizes and attends meetings with the President to support and participate where necessary; Procures the required tools, stationery and office equipment for the day-to-day operations of the office; Liaises with the offices of other senior company executives (both local and overseas), clients, suppliers and employees; Assumes tasks delegated by President and works closely with the company’s senior management team; Organizes and coordinates corporate and social events hosted by the President.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies or equivalent; At least four (4) years experience at a senior administrative level; and Excellent communications and presentation skills, in particular desktop publishing and power point; Analytical and diagnostic skills; Achievement/Results orientation; Administrative and organizational skills; Time management; Accountability and decision-making; Customer orientation/focus; and Interpersonal relationship and emotional intelligence
