JOB TITLE: Capacity Building and Training Specialist

LOCATION:  CHF Caribbean Inc., Barbados

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for supporting competitive partner selection processes; Assessing partner capacity building needs using a participatory capacity assessment process; Developing curriculum, capacity building and training packages and facilitating the delivery of capacity building support to project partners throughout the region; Ensure that all capacity building interventions delivered by the Project are geared towards Project objectives, are specific and responsive to the needs of partner organizations, and integrate best practices in adult and youth learning.

QUALIFICATIONS: At least 5 years’ of work experience in designing and implementing capacity building activities, designing training of trainer programs with a background in organizational development; Master’s degree or equivalent formal qualifications in Social Science, Education, adult learning, agriculture or other relevant fields; Preference will be given to those with experience in agriculture marketing and entrepreneurship.
