JOB TITLE: Chief Engineer

LOCATION:  Royalton White Sands, Montego Bay

DESCRIPTION: Performs complex analytical work in providing office and engineering support and field engineering support for environmental, water, sewer, and other technical projects while ensuring technical competence and compliance with all current codes and criteria; Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow; Issues written and oral instructions; Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures; Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates; Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances; Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates; Adjusts errors and resolves complaints; Reviews project development plans for compliance with codes, regulations and standards, adequacy of applications for permits and compliance with approved plans
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Chief Engineer or similar capacity in the hotel industry as well as supervisory experience; Must possess a degree or its equivalent in Engineering
