Description: Develop strategic, financial and annual work plans; Manage the budget and cash flow resources of the organization; Manage the collection of fees and investment of funds in the best interest of the organization; Monitor investment holdings and analyze performance to ensure portfolio is secure and earning optimal yields; Liaise with fund auditors to ensure audits are completed on a timely basis; Develop performance standards, internal controls and financial reporting systems
Qualifications: ACCA qualified or Post Graduate training in Accounting or equivalent professional level training; At least five (5) years experience in a senior accounting position; Knowledge of Public Sector Procurement procedure, Public Bodies management and Ethics legislation and policies of the Government of Jamaica will be an asset; Experience in project accounting and financial management; Experience in preparing management reports and financial statements; Excellent managerial skills, self-motivated and results oriented; Strong communications and presentation skills; Ability to develop and assess internal control systems
