Equipment Operator

LOCATION: Jamalco, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Complying with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures; Monitoring, coordinating and maintaining control of the Plant’s operating parameters; Minimizing equipment downtime by applying appropriate troubleshooting techniques and corrective actions; and Operating equipment in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)

QUALIFICATIONS: High school education with certified passes in at least four subjects (including English, Mathematics and a Science subject) at GCE O’ Level or C.X.C. examinations and satisfy Jamalco’s WRAT assessment to Grade 11; Four (4) years experience operating front-end loaders; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Basic computer skills
