LOCATION: C & WJ Employees Co-operative Credit Union Limited. Kingston
DESCRIPTION: Providing a high level of administrative support to the General Manager; To increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the Executive Office; Managing all aspects of communication with the stakeholders served by that Office including the Board, management and staff; To coordinate all elements of the administration of the corporate governance framework, including liaising with regulators and the public; Liaise with all Departments and Branches to ensure the timely dispatch of information, memoranda, letters, meeting notices, action sheets and other documents; Establish a tracking/feedback system to ensure that issues are recorded, addressed and resolved; Manage the General Manager’s diary and appointments, ensuring effective use of time and preparation of documents and information in advance; Assist with monitoring corporate performance using the Balanced Scorecard system; Act as Recording Secretary for Board and Committee meetings and prepare full minutes; Ensure that the records of the organization are maintained as required by law and made available when required by authorized persons.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent; Six years experience in administration, with at least three years providing administrative support at the executive level; Knowledge of a credit union’s functions and operations would provide a distinct advantage; Understanding of financial management and accounting principles; High level of proficiency in all areas of Microsoft Office; Proficiency in speed writing or shorthand; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Highly developed organizing and coordinating skills; Excellent customer service attitude; Strong problem solving skills; Excellent time management skills.
