DESCRIPTION: Digestion; Clarification; Precipitation; Calcination; Powerhouse; Raw Materials; Rocky Point; Mines; Complying with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures; Providing safe, efficient, cost effective and quality mechanical maintenance, repair services throughout the company operations; Minimizing plant and equipment downtime by utilizing advanced trade knowledge and participating in fault diagnosis and repairs of equipment; Maintaining high level of field repairs and maintenance through the use of timely overhauls and corrective maintenance; Maintaining operating standards, quality and statutory regulatory compliance and ALCOA best practice standards of mechanical equipment; Providing knowledge resource and a high degree of mechanical competence in timely executing shop repairs
QUALIFICATIONS: High school education with certified passes at GCE/CXC level or equivalent in Physics/ Chemistry, English and Mathematics; and satisfy a JAMALCO WRAT assessment to Grade 11; Craft training certification; Four (4) years work experience; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and good computer skills.
