JOB TITLE: Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager

LOCATION:  Massy Gas Products (Jamaica) Limited, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: To develop and maintain all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) protection policies and procedures for the Company and to ensure compliance with such procedures; To work with the company’s management team in establishing and maintaining a HSE Management System; To conduct Risk Assessment Exercises for all company processes; Responsibility for the development and maintenance of Crisis and Emergency plans and procedures; Responsibility for the planning and scheduling of all HSE audits; Responsibility for all HSE related training; Report to the Chief Executive Officer

QUALIFICATIONS: BSc in Occupational Health and Safety or its equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in the field as well as experience at the management level; NEBOSH Level 6 with 6 to 8 years experience in the field with experience at the management level; Must be the owner of a reliable motor vehicle; Knowledge of ISO and OSH laws; Computing skills; Project management; Database management; Strong people management skills; Excellent interpersonal relations; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to meet strict deadlines;  Ability to work well in a team environment
